Know When to Go: Bus Service Delays

RideKC is operating reduced schedules. If there are significant delays due to staffing issues, notices about delays will be sent through RideKC Notify. You can sign-up for text, email or phone notifications for the routes you use through this website. It is pretty easy to subscribe. You can either: 

  • Text "ridekc" to 816-685-8541 or visit ridekc.alertmedia.com/public and fill out the form to select your notification preferences.
  • You can also text your route codes to 816-685-8541 to subscribe to a specific route. See this pdf for all route-specific text codes.

For next available bus, you can contact the Regional Call Center at 816-221-0660 on weekdays, or use rideKC's online trip planners and bus trackers.
