Wyandotte County Museum

The Wyandotte County Museum is excited to announce the first phase of our new Wyandotte County Heritage Exhibit will be opening on May 1, 2021.  Phase one of the project will focus on telling the interconnected story of community, culture, and industry in Wyandotte County from the early railroads until 1920.  Phase II will focus on the 1920s through the 1951 Flood and Phase III will bring the story forward to 2000. A huge thank you to the Union Pacific Foundation, Barton P. and Mary D. Cohen Charitable Trust, the Wyandotte County Historical Society and Museum Inc. and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas for their support!
