The Health Department's Environmental Health Division conducts pool inspections and issues pool permits in Wyandotte County. If you require an application or have questions about our services, contact our office at (913) 573-6705 or ehs@wycokck.org.

Permits

Step 1.New Pool Permit Applications

To request the applications and forms for new seasonal or year-round public/semi public pools, contact our office at (913) 573-6705 or ehs@wycokck.org.

Step 2.Pool Permit Renewals

This application is to be used for the renewal of an existing permit. Permits need to be renewed each year. All permits expire on May 31st.  If this is for new construction or ownership/name change, please contact Environmental Health.

Fill out the application in full and submit with payment and any necessary documents such as updated staff certificates, VGB drain certification, etc.

How to Submit Your Renewal Application

Please submit your application based on how you want to pay.

If paying the fee online: Email your application to ehs@wycokck.org

If paying by check or money order, please mail your application to:

Fees

Please submit your pool permit fee payment along with your application form for a new pool permit or a permit renewal. Make Check or Money Order payable to: Unified Government Treasurer

Seasonal Public/Semi Public Pool Permit - first pool   $150
Seasonal Public/Semi Public Pool Permit - each additional pool $100
Year-Round Public/Semi Public Pool Permit - first pool $300
Year-Round Public/Semi Public Pool Permit - each additional pool $200
