The Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency on Aging and Disability Resource Center is proud to announce the return of its Annual Sock Hop! Come and join us for a 1950s-Style Sock Hop Party. During the event you can show off your skills during the dance contest, play games and win prizes, enjoy food and beverages, check-in on your health with a screening, connect with community resources and neighbors, and enjoy the entertainment!

Celebrating Older Americans' Month

The Annual Sock Hop is how we at the Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency on Aging and Disability Resource Center celebrate May 2024 as Older Americans' Month. Every May, the Administration for Community Living leads the nation’s observance of Older Americans Month (OAM). Join us in promoting flexible thinking about aging – and how we all benefit when older adults remain engaged, independent, and included.

Donations Are Greatly Appreciated!

We appreciate our community's support for this annual event. Tax deductible donations are being accepted for door prizes. We also appreciate cash or in-kind donations to make this a successful event.
