2023 Neighborhood Summit

Neighborhood Summit Thumb_Thumb.png

Hosted at Gloria Willis Middle School on Saturday, October 28 from 9AM-3PM, the UG will be bringing neighborhood leaders from across Wyandotte County together to talk about the future of our neighborhoods, connect with resources, and network with other community leaders.

Community Prosperity

We will preview the preliminary goals and strategies for PlanKCK, our citywide comprehensive plan, with a focus on community prosperity - we will talk about big ideas but also be honest about the challenges of implementation and how we can move forward. We will share ideas about how action and collaboration with our neighborhoods can make a difference.

Livable Neighborhoods

The Livable Neighborhoods Task Force will continue their strategic planning effort with neighborhood groups and you will be invited to dive into the Waterway Corridor project - an infrastructure project that can also be a place for art, culture and community. Be sure to check out the full agenda.

Resource Fair

The Resource Fair will be a great place to collect a ton of information and program details directly from our UG staff and partners! Come learn about the services available to you and your neighbors - and provide your feedback on several important initatives.

Registration for the full summit and box lunch has closed. However, we will keep general admission open so you can still attend!
