Older Americans Month Celebration - "Age My Way"

The Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency on Aging is excited to celebrate OAM on Friday, May 19th from 11am-2pm at the Area Agency on Aging location at 849 N 47th Street, Kansas City, KS.

Older adults play vital, positive roles in our communities – as family members, friends, mentors, and more. Just as every person is unique, so too is how they age and how they choose to do it – and there is no “right” way. That’s why the theme for Older Americans Month (OAM) 2022 is Age My Way.

Age My Way focuses on how older adults can age in their communities, living independently for as long as possible and participating in ways they choose.

We will also celebrate all Wyandotte County centenarians (100 years old or older). Be sure to join us the day of for a fun filled day of community love, activities, food, and music! See you there!
