On Thursday, February 9, the Wyandotte County Appraiser's Office will conduct a Property Valuation Clinic at the Edwardsville Community Center. The clinic will review the appraisal and valuation process, as well as the process to appeal your property tax valuation. There is no need to register for this free event.
Rising property values are the primary reason for increased property tax bills from one year to the next. Cities do not evaluate or assign property tax values. A city only determines the mill levy or tax rate with which taxes are calculated. We encourage you to learn more about this valuation process through this clinic.
