“Kansas City, Kansas is heartbroken over the shooting death of six-year-old Sir-Antonio Brown. The grief and loss which his family is now forced to deal with is unimaginable, which is why we want them to know that we stand behind them and mourn his loss as a community.
While our city has seen a reduction in violent crime, KCK, like the rest of our country, is not immune to this type of violence. Let’s be clear however, this was not random, and it was not an accident. The individuals involved intended to take a life and did not care that other lives could be lost in the process. But we care; we care about this family and the loss of Sir’s young life. Our Kansas City, Kansas Police Department has engaged every possible resource to bring these individuals to justice. But let me stress that one of the most important resources is you, the public. If you know anything about who committed this cowardly act or where they are now hiding, you must speak up.
Call the TIPS Hotline right now at 816-474-TIPS, they won’t ask your name, they’ll just ask what you know. Make that call for Sir and for his family. They need you to do that so that they may begin to heal.”
