Land Bank


Property Tax Deliquent

The Wyandotte County Land Bank is a unit of the Department of Administration. The Land Bank oversees approximately 2,000 vacant lots acquired through the Judicial Foreclosure Process. The duties of this division are to put delinquent tax properties back on the tax roll through various strategies that benefit the community. This includes marketing, removing prior year taxes, maintaining an inventory list, accepting parcels as donations and researching neighborhoods in Wyandotte County that contain delinquent taxes. In addition, the division collaborates with other Unified Government Departments such as:

When considering proposals to the Land Bank, preference will be given to projects that support home ownership, improve neighborhoods and otherwise advance the economic and social interests of Wyandotte County and its residents.
