The 2025 community survey is year one of a survey cycle which will replace the biennial (every other year) community survey. In late 2025/early 2026 the second community survey will be conducted for a complete survey cycle of at least 2,400 surveys completed county-wide. The results of the 2025 community survey at the city and county analysis levels may be used with confidence in the decision-making process. Additionally, after the 2026 survey, a complete survey report / analysis will be available.
The Unified Government has provided the data from previous community surveys and other special surveys held over the last two decades below. The community survey data is compared year over year to identify trends and shifts in public sentiment.

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, the Unified Government Board of Commissioners received an update on the 2022 Community Survey Results from ETC Institute, a third-party provider that helps us facilitate our bi-annual survey. Please check out the video below for the overview of the survey responses. Please keep in mind, this was part of a much longer meeting which is why the presenter is a little rushed. We will be developing additional videos in the coming weeks to share survey data in greater detail.
ETC Institute provides a dashboard with all of the 2022 survey data results. Community members are encouraged to explore this information and analysis. You can drill down to the neighborhood level of data for any question on the survey. Results from prior surveys can also be compared to view trends.
